Book Salon: The Big Sleep

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 10:30 AM

Join other book enthusiasts for a lively discussion of The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler. First published in 1939, The Big Sleep introduces readers to the hardboiled detective Philip Marlowe. Dark, complex, and tragic, the novel inspired a film noir by the same name, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, which will screen at the Museum on Thursday, February 11. Both events are being held in conjunction with the opening of the Street Seen feature exhibition.

RSVP for the Book Salon to amy.kirschke@mam.org or call 414-224-3826.

Purchase The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler online or in the art Museum Store. 139 pages. $14.00/$12.60 Members.
