Milwaukee industrial designer Brooks Stevens and Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava were made for each other. The swooping, streamlined aesthetic that Stevens helped to pioneer in the 1930s is reflected in the lines of Calatrava's beautiful Quadracci pavilion at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
