Volunteer opportunities

The Museum’s volunteers are a vital part of the team; they help to keep the Milwaukee Art Museum running smoothly throughout the year. Milwaukee Art Museum volunteers greet Museum visitors at entrances, offer navigational assistance in the Museum, distribute audio guides and general information, and assist with Museum Store customer service. After a brief introduction/training session, volunteers are asked to attend quarterly training classes and work a minimum of 6 hours a month from Monday through Sunday. Museum membership is required to apply for a volunteer position.
