Arts Camp at the Wilson Center
Immerse yourself in art, music, dance, and theatre - every young artist will find fun and inspiration at this creative day camp! The Art Museum joins teaching artists from First Stage Theater Academy, Milwaukee Ballet School, and Wisconsin Conservatory of Music to help you discover your own creative talents as you explore the lives, styles and techniques of famous artists from yesterday and today.

Drawing and Printmaking Art Camp
Discover Milwaukee Art Museum's unique collection of drawings, paintings, and prints while exploring drawing techniques and the fun process of printmaking. Young printmakers in this camp will create prints using traditional techniques including etching, relief, and monoprinting while learning about printmaking's rich history.

The Art of Nature Art Camp
Feathers, flora and fauna await you at the Milwaukee Art Museum! Young artists in this camp will discover the wonders of nature portrayed in paintings and sculpture throughout the galleries, as well as those living and growing in the Museum's Cudahy Gardens. Students will develop techniques with pencil, paint, ink and pastels as they create both realistic and imaginative art works inspired by nature.

Art and Music Exploration Camp
Join us for an exciting collaboration with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music as we explore connections between music and art! Each morning starts at the Conservatory for small group instruction on, piano, percussion, harp and notation/rhythm. Afternoons are spent at the Milwaukee Art Museum with additional instrument sampling on the recorder, as well as gallery walks to explore visual movement, emotion, color and composition in painting and sculpture. The afternoon concludes with studio time to create our own responsive artworks. Transportation between the Conservatory and the Museum is provided. No experience necessary!

The "isms" of Art Camp
Have fun with art history as you meet famous artists of the ISMS: including impressionism, fauvism, expressionism and surrealism! Discover their master works in the Museum's galleries, then develop drawing and painting skills in the different styles.

Sampler Art Camp
Enhance drawing, painting and mixed media techniques while exploring all kinds of art-making experiences in this sampler art camp. Students will begin drawing with pencil and oil pastels, try their hand at painting with watercolor or acrylics, and then work with mixed media to create multi-dimensional compositions.

CLASS REGISTRATION
To register for classes, call 414-224-3826. Class fees include supplies, unless otherwise noted. MAM's downtown class fees include admission to the Museum's non-ticketed galleries on the day of each session. All registration closes five working days prior to class start date. If you cancel 24 hours prior to the first session of class, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the price of the class. NO REFUNDS AFTER CLASS STARTS.
