Art Packs

During your next trip to the Museum with kids, try an ArtPack activity! These are self-guided activities created to help families connect with art in fun ways. Current highlights include Sketchpacks—carry cases filled with a variety of paper and artist’s materials for drawing in the galleries, an Architecture Scavenger Hunt (complete with a prize!), Reading with Art—picture books with cue cards developed to be read in front of works of art.

February 10 through May 6, 2012—pick up a special Family Guide, that will lead you through Accidental Genius: Art from the Anthony Petullo Collection, and Folk Art galleries, making drawings and talking about art along the way.

Designed for a range of ages and attention spans, you can use these fun activities in the galleries every time you visit the Museum. ArtPack activities are free and available from the ArtPack attendant in Windhover Hall or at the entrance to the Museum’s Collection.
