Every weekend, the Museum invites families to drop in for five minutes or stay all day to enjoy a variety of hands-on art activities together that enrich the Museum experience. Participation is free with general admission; free for Members. No pre-registration is required.

Story Time in the Galleries
Saturdays, 10:30 AM

Come hear a story that relates to a work of art in the Museum, and then create your own story drawing to take home.

Sketching in the Galleries
Saturdays, 1–3PM

Drop in with your family to try your hand at sketching from works in a different gallery each week. No experience necessary!

Kohl’s Art Generation Open Studio
Sundays, 10 AM–4 PM

In this creativity-generating space, kids can make a mess—and they may just make a masterpiece! Stop by and be part of the Kohl’s Art Generation! Drop in for five minutes or stay all day! Bring the whole family for a variety of studio projects that explore different art materials and techniques used to create the works in the Museum's Collection.
