Scholastic Art Awards-Wisconsin Regional Competition

The Milwaukee Art Museum has hosted the Scholastic Art Awards-Wisconsin Regional Competition and Exhibition since 1976. The Scholastic Art Awards offers early recognition of creative teenagers by local and national professionals in the arts and exhibition opportunities for regional and national audiences; and scholarships for graduating seniors who present portfolios of art.

How can I submit to the Scholastic Art Awards – Wisconsin Regional Competition?
The process begins with students submitting creative works of art to the Wisconsin Regional Affiliate program through an art teacher or other primary teacher if their school does not have an art teacher. Supported by their teachers and other community mentors, students create and submit their best works in any of the following seventeen visual arts categories:
Animation; Ceramics & Glass; Computer Art; Apparel Design; Graphic Design; Installation/Environmental Design; Jewelry Design; Plans and Models; Product Design; Digital Imagery; Drawing; Mixed Media; Painting; Photography; Printmaking; Sculpture; Video & Film.
Requests for entry materials to the Scholastic Art Awards-Wisconsin Regional Competition may be made starting in late October. Art work submissions are due in early January, so request entry materials before December to complete your submission by the deadline.
