Join Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Rhodes, who wrote the major biography John James Audubon, The Making of an American (2004), as he discusses Audubon’s great ambition to not only catalog America’s birds but also to merge scientific illustration with fine art. See the work of this naturalist-artist in the exhibition Catesby, Audubon, and the Discovery of a New World.
