Join us as we celebrate the arrival of Warhol to the Milwaukee Art Museum, and see this legendary artist as you’ve never seen him before! Works of monumental proportions created in the final years of Warhol’s life comprise the feature exhibition, Andy Warhol: The Last Decade, which premieres in Milwaukee before heading on national tour. From works of abstraction and figuration to Pop imagery and self-portraiture—your Warhol experience begins here. Exhibition curator Joseph D. Ketner II will provide two separate lectures*; complimentary appetizers and a cash bar will be available beginning at 5 p.m.
* Lectures are ticketed. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at noon and 5 p.m., respectively. See the calendar listing for more details.
