Kohl’s Art Generation Open Studio: Black & White All Over

You’ll be amazed at all that you can create in black and white! From the abstract stone sculptures of Barbara Hepworth to the painted limestone Rock Dog by Edgar Tolson, to the gigantic portrait painted by Chuck Close, the black-and-white art at the Museum is sure to inspire you. Make a collage, add to a wall painting, and create an animal sculpture—all in black and white! Free with Museum admission.

Bring your family to celebrate the opening of the Kohl’s Education Center! With interactive exhibitions, a lab for creative discovery, and tons of opportunities for hands-on art making, the center is a place where kids and families can play, create, and explore the world together. Be among the first to tour the new spaces, join us for fun-filled activities, and collect a prize!
Play Date with Art: Birds of a Feather
